Yes, it is possible for another person to collect your documents upon presentation of an authorization signed by the holder. In the case of the criminal record, a notarized power of attorney is required.
Requests on behalf of third parties are only accepted for birth certificates, marriage certificates and Immigrant Certificate, upon presentation of the interested party's identification document.
Please note that only birth certificates can be delivered in multilingual format (Portuguese, French and English).

If you are a Cape Verdean national, we would like to point out that you do not need a visa. For individuals who are not Cape Verdean nationals, we recommend that you provide proof of your nationality by means of a birth certificate. We therefore recommend that you bring your birth certificate with you along with your passport when planning your trip.
It is not mandatory to obtain a visa. We suggest you consult the website www.ease.gov.cv for additional information and consider the possibility of applying for Cape Verdean nationality with the competent authorities, preferably at Embassies located outside Cape Verde.
Yes, in situations where technical problems occur during the registration process on the EASE platform, it is possible to solve them by paying the airport fee upon arrival at the airport.
The Embassy does not currently offer translation services, however, we can provide a list of certified translators who can assist in this process.
We recommend that you contact the Luxembourg immigration services for information on visa renewal, as the Embassy does not handle issues related to entry or residence visas in Luxembourg
We request that payments be made exclusively by bank card (Visa or Debit).
Appointments without appointments are only available in urgent cases. For other situations, please schedule an appointment in advance.
No appointment is necessary to collect documents.
Yes, it is possible to carry out both acts on the same day, but we require an appointment for passport renewal.
